Fibertherm Special is a wood fiber panel for thermal and acoustic insulation on the outside of flat or pitched roofs, resistant to wind and humidity and with an high density. Ideal for roof insulation in wooden buildings, but also in renovations and new traditional buildings.

Wood fiber panels FiberTherm Special 240: the roof, due to its large surface tends to lose a lot of thermal energy. As a result, potential savings in restructuring are also lost. But what if the attic is already developed and inhabited? At BetonWood we offer the FiberTherm special solution, a rigid wood-fiber insulating panel that can be placed directly from the outside on the beams.

Ideally, the area must first be insulated between the beams, for example with FiberTherm Flex 60, the flexible insulating wood fiber system. Often, only the old construction beams are too small to make modern insulation systems. With the FiberTherm special dry wood fiber it is possible to provide the additional insulation required above the beams. The living space under the roof is not compromised. Density equal to 240 kg/m³.

The material is also recyclable, it is certified and made exclusively with wood from controlled forests in compliance with the FSC guidelines (Forest Stewardship Declaration).


To repair the external part of the roof, it is necessary to ensure the protection from the weather for the underlying surface as soon as possible.
The panel profile FiberTherm Special 240 guarantees wind resistance, suitability and drainage of water, without further joints for roofs with at least 16° inclinations.
FiberTherm special protects from the weather on the installation day.


The insulating wood fiber panel FiberTherm special 240 is an excellent thermal and acoustic insulation for new roof and renovations. This type of wood fiber has the following characteristics:

• safety protection from atmospheric agents: special tongue&groove profile of wood fiber panels FiberTherm Special dry has a specially developed geometry for easy installation and long life. The roof is well protected from rain and wind.

• Ecologic quality: BetonWood has developed a great experience in the production and use of wood fiber insulation materials. Independent certifications, such as the FSC label, have the function to confirm this quality.
